A Temporary Pause, A Message from Elijah Tours & Travel
Share
There are moments when it is not easy to find the right words. When you sit down to write and realize that what you want to say comes from the heart more than from a business plan.
This is one of those moments.
The Holy Land continues to wake each morning. The sun still rises over Jerusalem. The streets of Bethlehem still carry history in every stone. Jericho still stands quietly beneath its ancient hills. And yet, the atmosphere feels different. There is a weight in the air — a reminder that stability can sometimes feel fragile.
For many around the world, the current situation in our region may seem distant. For us, it shapes daily life. It affects families, communities, and the simple rhythm of work. As a local Christian tour company rooted in this land, we feel it not only professionally, but personally.
After careful consideration, and with the safety of our guests and our team as our highest priority, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily cancel all scheduled tours until further notice.
This was not an easy choice. Guiding pilgrims and visitors through the Holy Land is more than a job for us. It is a calling. It is a way of sharing the places where faith history unfolded — Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Jericho, the Jordan River, and so many sacred sites that carry deep meaning for believers around the world.
We know many of you had planned meaningful journeys. Some were preparing for once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimages. Others were returning to reconnect with a place that feels like a second home. We share your disappointment. We truly do.
But above all, your safety matters.
Elijah Tours & Travel has always been built on trust, care, and personal connection. Our drivers, guides, and team members are not just staff — they are fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters who care deeply about every guest who visits. In times like these, protecting both our visitors and our local families must come first.
The Holy Land has endured many seasons throughout history. It has seen joy and hardship, celebration and uncertainty. And through it all, faith has remained.
We firmly believe that this pause is temporary.
The stones of Bethlehem are still here. The Church of the Nativity still stands. The Jordan River still flows. The desert roads to Jericho still carry stories thousands of years old. And when the time is right, we will once again walk them together.
Until then, we ask for your understanding, your patience, and your prayers — for peace, for safety, and for stability for all people in the region.
We look forward to welcoming you back when circumstances allow. The Holy Land will be ready. And so will we.
With sincerity and hope,
Elijah Tours & Travel
