A panoramic stop at the Sea Level marker offers photos and camels before you reach Jericho, the oldest city in the world, with its ancient mound of Tel es-Sultan. Here you can also see the Mount of Temptation, where Jesus fasted for 40 days, with an optional cable car, along with the Sycamore (Zacchaeus) Tree and Elisha's Spring.
The route then reaches the Jordan River, near the traditional baptism site of Jesus, before continuing to the Dead Sea for free time to float in the mineral-rich water and try the famous mud.
