Bethlehem & Hebron Private Tour
Private full-day tour of Bethlehem and Hebron with a licensed Christian guide: the Church of the Nativity, Hebron's Old City and the Cave of the Patriarchs (Abraham's Tomb).
Description
The Bethlehem and Hebron private tour is a full-day journey through two of the most history-rich cities in the Holy Land, combining the Christian landmarks of Bethlehem with the ancient sites of Hebron and its Old City. A licensed local Christian guide accompanies you, and the day runs at a comfortable, private pace with hotel pickup and drop-off.
- Shepherds' Field in Beit Sahour
- Church of the Nativity and Saint Catherine's Church
- Milk Grotto Church
- Olive Wood Factory and Community Store
- Hebron Old City
- Cave of the Patriarchs (Abraham's Tomb)
- Hebron Ceramic and Glass Factory
The day begins with pickup from your hotel in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, or Tel Aviv depending on the option you select at checkout, then continues to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. With your local Christian guide you start at Shepherds' Field in the nearby town of Beit Sahour, where a small church marks the place where an angel is said to have announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds. You then move into the Old City of Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, where a star in a small cave beneath the church marks the spot where Jesus is believed to have been born, along with Saint Catherine's Church. The guided visit explains the history of one of the oldest churches in the world. The tour also includes the Milk Grotto Church, the place where Mary and Joseph are believed to have rested before fleeing to Egypt.
After Bethlehem the tour heads to Hebron for a visit of the Old City and the Cave of the Patriarchs, believed to be the burial place of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Rebecca, and Leah. The day also includes a stop at the Hebron glass and ceramic factory. Lunch in Bethlehem and a visit to the Olive Wood Factory and Community Store are part of the route, and all visit times are approximate. Please note that the Grotto of the Nativity is undergoing major restoration, the first in over 600 years, so access to the Grotto itself may be limited or closed through 2026, while the Church of the Nativity and the rest of the tour remain fully open.
