Welcome to Jerusalem, a city steeped in history, religion, and culture. Join us on a spiritual journey through some of the most sacred and iconic sites in this ancient city.
Description
The Jerusalem Full Day Private Tour is a guided walk through the sacred and historic sites of Jerusalem, from the Mount of Olives across the Kidron Valley and into all four quarters of the Old City. Travel with a licensed local guide at a private, well-paced rhythm that allows time for explanation, prayer, and photos at each stop.
- Mount of Olives
- Garden of Gethsemane, Church of All Nations, and the Church of Gethsemane
- Kidron Valley
- Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall
- Muslim Quarter, Christian Quarter, and the Via Dolorosa
- Church of the Holy Sepulcher
- Byzantine Cardo and the Armenian Quarter
- Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper
The day begins high on the Mount of Olives, where the whole city opens up in front of you and the panorama takes in centuries of history. You then walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane, with its ancient olive trees, and step inside the calm, dimly lit Church of All Nations. From there the route crosses the Kidron Valley into the Jewish Quarter, where the Western Wall draws visitors to touch the stones, pray, and place written notes in the cracks.
The tour continues through the four quarters of the Old City. You pass through the Muslim Quarter with its spice stalls and fresh bread, then walk the Via Dolorosa in the Christian Quarter toward the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, one of the holiest sites in Christianity. The route also passes the Byzantine Cardo, where Roman columns still stand, and the quiet Armenian Quarter. The day closes at the Tomb of King David and, just upstairs, the Room of the Last Supper. Times are approximate and the itinerary can be customized to your wishes.
